Hi

My name is Jenny I'm 29 and I've been interested in raw foods for some time but am only now ready for the changes in my lifestyle. I can't even remember the exact way I cam across raw foods but I feel I was made aware of it for a reason. My health has been pretty poor most of my life from childhood illnesses and regular infections into adulthood. I also have depression and have been overweight for years so my main reason for going raw is to improve my health
overall and to get more out of life!!
I've been eating raw for 1 week now and feel great already. I have much more energy and sleep and relax so much easier.
I've also lost 6lb in weight. :D
Hope to share my progress here and get some support.

good for you

i can unofficially declare (does that make sense? lol) that all of your above stated ailments will slowly disintegrate with raw. i no longer suffer depression that i had dealt with from 13-18...and eating disorder habits have disappeared (well, almost!)

it's great you're feeling great. keep in mind that stumbling along the way isn't the end of the world. just a bit of advice :)

best wishes

Hi Jenny, we seem to have a lot in common! I'm 28 and live in Glasgow (the Southside), I've been interested in raw food for about a year and in the past have managed to eat raw for a month before going back to my unhealthy habits. I have also had issues with depression and being overweight. Good luck and well done so far!
