What is the best water (is there a brand) for water fasting?

Do you use any type of elimination accelerants (eneras, salt water flushing, etc.)?

Do you find that the weight you lose, if you are 100% raw for a week to 2 weeks before and of course after, comes back?

Oh, and is there an amount of water you should drink even if you're not hungry/thirsty?

Thanx!

I've used distilled water when fasting, but I've heard this may leech minerals from your body, so do look into this.

The thing about "accelerants" is that when animals or people fast in nature, they don't have this luxury, and yet their bodies have told them to fast. I don't worry too much about reabsorbing toxins through the colon, as I eat only fruit for several days prior. In my experience, things will move when they're ready (sometimes 3-4 days in). And the salt water flush is very powerful and does some drastic stuff to the body.

About the amount of water: it's a good general rule to drink when thirsty, which will be often. But there are also times I just don't feel thirsty at all. I notice that drinking a bit every 30 minutes or so, thirsty or not, keeps headaches at bay (although you'll still probably have them).

For me, fasting isn't really for weight loss, so I usually gain everything back within a week...but I'm about 112.

Check out my journal if you like; I wrote about a water fast I did recently there.

Bless,

Joy
