Oh, man. -drooling- That all looks so awesome!

Isn't the carrot and parsnip fettuccine with the pumpkin seed pesto soooo yummy?! I've made it four times in the past 1.5 weeks and I'm making it again tomorrow!

Not fair!

I am sitting here drinking a green smoothy looking at these great pictures. What I am drinking doesn't compare to how these look.

Makes me motivated to "cook" today.

The carrot and parsnip fettucini look amazing...are parsnips easy to peel with a peeler for the "noodles"?

Thanks

Yeah. I just use a regular peeler and peel the carrots and parsnips with no problem. I'm not sure how Sunshine9 did it, though.

You can get the carrot and parsnip recipe here: http://greenchefs.tv/vanessa-sherwood/Parsnip-Fettuccine/

Here's pics of the ones I made:

Here are some pictures of a cheesecake I made a couple weeks ago:

I didn't have enough blueberries, so the sauce turned out a little thin. Still yummy, though.

Hi Sunshine!

I would love the recipe for the pumpkin seed pesto & Strawberry mouse torte, however I would be just as happy with what cookbook you got it from and I can just go look it up! Great pictures! Thanks

THANK YOU for all of the lovely compliments!

The strawberry mousse torte was something I made up so I don't have a recipe for it, though i did loosely adapt it from a recipe i found here for a chocolate one. The macaroons are from "Raw Food Real World" and the collard wraps are with Alissa's crab cake pate. And I think someone already posted a link to green chef tv's site for the pumpkin seed pesto...

I used zucchini instead of parsnips, and i was only so-so on the recipe because i'm not a huge cilantro fan.

Luna-- Your chips & guac (i'm assuming that's what it is) look AMAZING!

Raw food is so amazing. I can't get over it.

Hi Sunshine,

Here is what I ate today! Do you remember anything about what you put into your starberry torte - I'm in big trouble as my daughter saw it and wants it - NOW! I dont need amounts. :p

Stuffed Portabello Mushroom : marinated in vinagrete and topped with diced tomatos & red peppers, guacamole, Alissas spring marinara (from her lasagna) & sprouts

Carrot Pecan Salad: Alissas Carrot Pecan burger mix (I love it undehydrated as a pate - it's quite sweet too) spooned onto cucumber rounds, tomatos & avocado topped with sprouts & a reaspberry vinegrette dressing

Thanks!

eachpeachpearplum--

Let's see.... It was a mixture of strawberries, avocado, sweetner, some coconut butter, vanilla.... those were the key things. I know i threw in other stuff too, but that is the essential. Good luck with your torte :) Oh, and WOW your stuffed mushroom looks out of this world.

How thoughtful of you. In our area our electric bill has gone up 50% what it was last year. That means even with a credit agreement our bill is over $500.00 a month. Just seeing the pictures and being able to get the recipes that go along with them is "SUCH A BLESSING". Thanks to you for taking the time to brighten up my day.

Hello Sunshine and All :D

I absolutely cannot believe it; I made the fettucine and the pumpkin seed pesto, it was sooooooooooo delicious! Thanks so much for including the link to green tv so I could get the recipe. I'm STILL anxiously awaiting the arrival of Alissa's book AND DVD's and in the meantime, don't have many recipes, being new at this and all.... THANKS, this was easy and delicious. I was amazed at the texture of the noodles (I used carrots and zucchini) after letting them set in the olive oil.... YUM :p

I also want to thank whoever it was that posted the recipe for the yummy breakfast dish; apples, bananas, walnuts and agave nectar... I'm eating some right now--- YUMMY..... i also added some raw shredded coconut to mine.... It's AWESOME :D ..... I can't wait to get Alissa's stuff so I can share some pictures, too!!!

Y'all have a great, green day!!
RAW RULES ;)
